Denton Adds Mölder to Spring Roster
Jan 06, 2026 | Men's Tennis
BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M's men's tennis head coach Steve Denton announced the signing of Markus Mölder to the Aggies spring roster on Tuesday.
Mölder holds a career-high ITF Juniors ranking at No. 75 from a 32-15 junior singles record. The Estonian native compiled five singles and six doubles titles over his junior career, including the J100 Tallinn and J200 Hannover singles titles and J200 Targu Jiu doubles title.
"We are excited to have Markus join our team," Denton said. "He is a player with a lot of international experience. I view Markus as an integral part of our success going forward. He is a very good player in singles and in doubles and will fit into our culture extremely well. He has a professional approach to his craft, and I know our coaching staff can't wait to begin working with him."
The 6-foot Mölder recently competed in the 2025 Davis Cup for Estonia, where he earned a 6-3, 6-2 win over Venezuela's Ignacio Parisca to send his country to the main draw in the World Group II bracket. He currently holds a No. 877 doubles and No. 1166 singles ATP ranking and won the ITF M15 Monastir in doubles in 2025.
"I'm very excited to join the Aggies at Texas A&M," Mölder said. "The program, coaches, and players are all high-level, and I'm looking forward to gaining new experiences and continuing to grow both on and off the court. I'm ready to work hard and do everything I can to help make this a successful season."
