Aggies Visit with Media as Prep Continues for Season Opener

They're getting better. Our defense has got to get better in the half court, particularly. They've got a good vibe for understanding players' strengths and weaknesses. If we have the whole roster together, all the players, I think we can space the floor really well and I think the returners from last year are improved a lot. The freshmen are probably a little ahead of where I thought they'd be at this time. I like our group. But we'll see when the bullets start flying.

My first few months have been good. When I first got here, I was still recovering from my surgery, but I think the transition went really smooth. Just getting adjusted to the system and meeting all the guys, it's been going really well...I think my versatility is a good fit for this type of system, being able to play fast and having multiple guys who can play inside and out. So I feel like I could be a perfect fit for that.

I think it's great. We're athletic, long, and I think it's going to be similar to last year where we just won't stop. I think that's just how we play here and that's what we do. So I think it's going to be real similar, just a little longer and a little more athletic.
