Game Highlights

Postgame: Mike Elko

I told the guys in the locker room--obviously I'm proud of how they handled it, the professionalism it took to go out there and play that game the way they did. On offense in the first half, with four touchdowns. Defensively, to pitch a shutout. I thought we were able to get a lot of guys a lot of reps. That was really, really important with where we are right now. And you saw some young, talented kids starting to starting to get a little bit more comfortable...Coming off the field today, we were able to get done what we wanted to get done. Now it's back in SEC play and the big challenge next week in Tuscaloosa.

-- Mike Elko

Postgame: Aaron Gregory

We all came out there and were one unit, I think. I think that was the biggest thing. Just everybody being on one path, straight forward, came out there and played physical and got the job done. Do your part. I think we did that at a high level today.

-- Aaron Gregory on the difference in today's passing game

Postgame: Sam M'Pemba

It was definitely a little different from the past couple of weeks, the offense that they do run. But I feel like our preparation from the coaches earlier this week helped us a lot...I think this is a good stepping stone. Just put your head down and continue to work. We've still got six more games, so that's all we can do at the moment. But I feel like today was a good day.
