Quoting Aaron Pounds
“Winning as a team is the best thing in golf. It’s so fun to do it with my buddies. And I know we have a really strong squad this year and so I’m looking forward to what we can do. But yeah, it was awesome to get the win both individually and as a team. But as a team, it’s the best.”
Quoting Head Coach Brian Kortan
“The team played really well. Halbert National tests you every step of the way. Everyone stepped up and played a part in the win. We played very solid golf all three rounds. Aaron led the way for sure, but we had great rounds from everyone along the way. We always talk about the team effort it takes to have a great week. The guys really put three really good scores together.”
“Very proud of Aaron for getting his 3rd career win. It’s icing on the cake. Really makes for a special week.”
