The Aggies (12-8, 5-3 SEC) outlasted the Bulldogs (14-4, 6-2 SEC) in a four-set slugfest to earn their fifth conference win. Georgia added another, but a kill from Taryn Morris sealed the first, 25-23.

The Bulldogs responded in the second, 25-18, but a battle in the early portion of the third saw the Aggies up two at the break thanks to Stowers’ second ace, 15-13. Texas A&M put its foot on the gas behind a barrage of offense, as it logged six kills in its final 10 points finished off again by Morris to take the set, 25-21.

Match Highlights

Postgame: Jamie Morrison

That was gritty. We got into it, it was a really tough environment here. And I give Georgia credit, they're really good volleyball team. But I was really proud of the way we fought...The SEC's hard. We've got a ton of really cool environments that we get to go travel to and be a part of, and this was one of them. So to go and get an SEC road win is a big deal. Again, I'm proud of our team.
