Aggies' Sweep of Kentucky Delivers Big Ratings

The numbers are in, and one of the largest audiences to ever watch the sport of volleyball on the ESPN family of networks tuned in to watch Texas A&M's big sweep of defending national finalist Kentucky on Sunday in Lexington.

An audience of over half a million tuned in to the game on ABC, making it the eighth-most watched regular-season volleyball match on the network's record.

This, of course, follows on the heels of over 1.4 million tuning in last December to watch the Aggies take down the Wildcats--again via a sweep--for the program's first national championship.

It marked the second most-watched NCAA volleyball championship ever.

Texas A&M is in the midst of a huge week as they look to move up the SEC standings, hosting 6th-ranked Tennessee Friday night (6:30 p.m., SEC Network +) before another massive network broadcast on Sunday against rival and 14th-ranked Texas in Austin (12 p.m., ABC).
