College Station – The Texas A&M soccer team plays its 2026 finale Sunday when the Ole Miss Rebels visit Ellis Field. Kickoff is slated for 12 p.m.

Texas A&M will honor seniors Trinity Buchanan, Bella Carapazza, Leah Diaz, Sydney Fuller, Taylor Jernigan, Hattie Patterson and Mia Scranton prior to the match.

The match airs on SEC Network with Alex Perlman (play-by-play) and Ian Carry (analyst) on the call.

The 2026 edition of Texas A&M soccer is heavily reliant on freshmen. The Aggies had nine freshmen play in the season opener, including five in the starting lineup and most recently they started eight freshmen at Missouri. All told, 11 freshmen have played through the first 16 matches. They have combined to play 7,163 of the 15,840 minutes (45.2%). Ireland Churchill leads the team with 1,288 minutes on the pitch. Ava Sexton (1,176), Finley Lacher (993) and Makenna August (997) also rank in the top six among Aggies in minutes played.

In Bobby Shuttleworth's first season at the helm, Texas A&M has shown signs of progress while developing one of the youngest rosters in the SEC. The Aggie offense has found a spark it lacked in 2025, scoring 27 goals through 16 matches after managing just 17 last season. The Maroon & White have also averaged 2.3 more shots and 2.2 more shots-on-goal per match. The Aggies have been on the wrong end of several nip-and-tuck games, playing 11 matches decided by one goal or less and suffering five losses after scoring first.

Churchill leads the Aggies with 11 goals, including four in the last two matches. Her goal tally leads all NCAA Division I freshmen. She also has a team-high 25 points with three assists. Buchanan leads the team with five assists and ranks second with seven goals and 19 points.

Texas A&M boasts a 10-3-2 advantage in the all-time series against Ole Miss, with all 15 meetings coming since the Aggies joined the SEC in 2012. The two teams last met in 2023, when the Maroon & White earned a 4-1 victory in Oxford. Texas A&M owns a 5-1-1 record against the Rebels at Ellis Field.

Ole Miss enters the matchup with a 7-10-0 overall record and a 0-9-0 mark in SEC play. The Rebels have yet to earn a point through nine conference matches. The Red & Blue are enduring a nine-match losing streak, including a 4-0 loss to No. 3 Vanderbilt and a 2-0 defeat at No. 5 Alabama. Last time out, Ole Miss fell to Kentucky, 4-0, in Lexington.

The Rebels have struggled offensively in SEC play, scoring just two goals through nine conference matches while conceding 29 during that stretch. On the season, the Red & Blue have scored 13 goals while surrendering 33. Ole Miss has not recorded a clean sheet since their eighth match of the campaign, a 1-0 victory over Belmont.
