On the team finishing second
It was a really good performance. It stings to come up a little short. In the coming days we’ll have a chance to lean into that experience and have an opportunity to grow as players and as a team. Overall 3 very solid rounds. With contributions up and down the lineup. We’ll need to continue that as we get deeper into the season.
On Wheaton winning the Fighting Irish Classic
Very proud of Wheaton. That’s his first collegiate win. He was so solid, [holes] 1-54. Coming out on top on a very challenging course in an excellent field speaks so much to the work he’s put in.
