Texas A&M Hosts Louisiana Thursday at Reed Arena
Preview: Joni Taylor
I thought it was a good chance for us, with the roster that we had, to come out and play three games (in a week) and get going. I'm excited about having the opportunity to do that, to see how we respond early. Obviously (Louisiana) is the first thing on our mind there. Coach (Brodhead) has been doing this a really long time. I have a ton of respect for who he is as a coach. He's defensive minded, does a great job with his team...they're aggressive defensively. They run some things offensively to try to get the ball inside. And they've got people who can stretch you from three. They have always been well-balanced, but you know that you're going to see pressure defensively. So we're going into this game understanding that protecting the basketball is really important.

I think that they're going to play really hard. Tomorrow they're going to come in there and going to press us. They're two really good teams, so we're going to have to show up every day and continue to work and be better. They're going to get after it. They're going to play hard. They're going to guard us.
