BRYAN–COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M Athletics and the 12th Man Foundation proudly recognize Kim and Eric Foss for their lead gift supporting the Eric Foss Family Player Development Center, a transformational new facility for Aggie Baseball.
Named in recognition of their extraordinary commitment, the Eric Foss Family Player Development Center represents a significant investment in the future of Aggie Baseball. Located adjacent to Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park, the facility is designed to support the holistic development of Aggie student-athletes, enhancing the program's operations while serving as a centralized hub for training, preparation and recovery, reinforcing Texas A&M Baseball's pursuit of excellence in the SEC and on the national stage.
Driven by the Fosses' lead gift and remarkable support from fellow donors, the $28.3 million project was fully funded just four months after approval by The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents in February 2025. In total, supporters committed more than $30.8 million, a powerful testament to the generosity and shared vision of 12th Man Foundation donors in advancing competitive excellence and student-athlete development at Texas A&M.
"For us, this gift is about investing in young people and in a program that represents everything we value about Texas A&M," said Eric Foss. "Aggie Baseball has a rich tradition, and we're proud to support a facility that will help prepare student-athletes not just as players, but as leaders beyond the game. Aggieland will always be a place we love coming home to, and we are proud to give back to a university that has had such a strong impact on our entire family."
Longtime supporters of Texas A&M Athletics and the mission of the 12th Man Foundation, the Foss family includes Aggie graduates Laura (Foss) Mann, class of 2011, Elizabeth (Foss) Vowinkle, class of 2013, and Kathryn (Foss) Rutherford, class of 2017. As Diamond Champions Council members, 1922 Fund donors and baseball, basketball and football season ticket holders, the family has demonstrated a deep commitment to providing opportunities for Aggie student-athletes. Kim, a former student-athlete herself, shares Eric's belief in the transformative power of athletics to shape character, leadership and lifelong impact beyond the field of play.
A graduate of Ball State University, Eric has built a distinguished career as Chairman and CEO at leading global, consumer-focused organizations, including Primo Brands Corporation, Aramark Corporation and The Pepsi Bottling Group. His longstanding involvement in the game of baseball — including prior ownership investment at the professional level — has shaped a deep appreciation for player development and leadership through sport.
Beyond athletics, the Foss family is deeply committed to community impact, supporting organizations such as Memorial Sloan Kettering, Back on My Feet, Ability Beyond, Genesis Women's Shelter and The Dallas 24-Hour Club, reflecting a shared belief in opportunity, dignity and transformation through service. Eric was also a principal investor in the Omaha Storm Chasers, the Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals.
"This project reflects what is possible when visionary donors step forward with leadership and purpose," said Trev Alberts, Texas A&M director of athletics. "The Eric Foss Family Player Development Center is a direct result of a shared commitment to providing our student-athletes with the resources they need to compete, grow and succeed at the highest level."
"This facility is a gamechanger for our program," said Texas A&M head baseball coach Michael Earley. "The Eric Foss Family Player Development Center will impact every aspect of how we prepare, train and develop our student-athletes. We are incredibly grateful to the Foss family and every 12th Man Foundation donor who contributed to this project for their belief in Aggie Baseball and their commitment to providing our players with the resources they need to succeed."
"The Foss family's philanthropic gift to the 12th Man Foundation is a powerful statement of belief in the spirit and future of Texas A&M Athletics and Aggie Baseball," said Brian Bishop, vice president of major gifts for the 12th Man Foundation. "Their generosity reflects a genuine commitment to giving back and will have a lasting impact on Aggie student-athletes and the baseball program."
Construction on the state-of-the-art facility began in December 2025 and is slated for completion prior to the 2027 season.
