No. 23 Baseball Set to Compete Amegy Bank College Baseball Series in Arlington

ARLINGTON – No. 23 Texas A&M hits the road for the first time this season to compete in the 2026 Amegy Bank College Baseball Series at Globe Life Field starting Friday night with a matchup against Virginia Tech (7-1) at 7 p.m.
The Aggies (8-0) will also face off against No. 1 UCLA (6-2) on Saturday at 7 p.m. before closing out the weekend versus Arizona State (8-1) on Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
All three contests will be streamed on FloCollege and may be heard locally on 1150 AM/93.7 FM The Zone. Fans may also follow along with all three games through live stats or on X, @AggieBaseball.
The last time the Aggies played at Globe Life Field was in 2024, posting a 3-0 record with two wins over Arizona State and a triumph over USC.
The Maroon & White will send the trio of Shane Sdao, Weston Moss and Aiden Sims to the mound. The three pitchers were excellent against Penn, combining for 25 strikeouts and allowing just one earned run throughout the three-game series. As a unit, the Texas A&M pitching staff combined for a 0.31 ERA, 0.48 WHIP and did not issue a single walk to the Quakers in the series.
Nationally, the Aggies rank first in K/BB ratio (9.00) and walks allowed per nine innings (1.16). The Maroon & White owns a 0.90 WHIP, which ranks third in the country and a 2.70 ERA that ranks 12th.
At the plate, Texas A&M ranks inside the top 10 nationally in batting average (.357), on-base percentage (.487), slugging percentage (.636) and home runs (18).
