Men’s Basketball Selected as No. 10 Seed in NCAA Tournament

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M men's basketball team is headed to Oklahoma City as the No. 10 seed in the South Region as the selection committee revealed the field of 68 for the 2026 NCAA Tournament Sunday evening.
The Aggies, who finished fourth in the SEC with an 11-7 record and sit at 21-11 on the year, are set to face No. 7 seed St. Mary's at the Paycom Center Thursday, March 19 at 6:35 p.m. on TruTV. The Gaels are 25-7 on the season and claimed their fourth straight West Coast Conference regular season title. The winner of the game will face the winner of the Houston/Idaho game on Saturday.
The selection marks the fourth consecutive and 18th overall appearance in the NCAA Tournament for the Maroon & White.
