Apr 22, 2026 | Women's Basketball
COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M women's basketball signed Georgia transfer and rising redshirt junior Miyah Verse Wednesday.
"We are thrilled to welcome Miyah to the Texas A&M family," Head Coach Joni Taylor said. "She brings an infectious level of energy and tenacity that will elevate everyone around her. Her ability to rebound and defend will make an immediate impact on our program. We can't wait to watch her grow and thrive as an Aggie."
The SEC veteran played 64 games with the Lady Bulldogs, averaging 4.2 points and 4.8 rebounds per game while shooting 52.6% from the field.
The 6-1 forward posted 5.3 points and 5.8 rebound per outing her freshman year, making her one of only three freshmen in the SEC during the 2024-25 campaign to average at least 5.0 points and 5.0 rebounds for the year.
Verse had one of her two career double-doubles against the Aggies her freshman season when she had 11 points and a career-high 17 rebounds.
The Dayton, Ohio, native was a 2023 McDonald's All-American Nominee and a four-star recruit coming out of Arizona College Prep, according to ESPN.
Verse is the first signee of the 2026 offseason for Taylor and staff as they look to fill out the 2026-27 roster.
