COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M women's tennis team signed SEC transfer Kristina Paskauskas, head coach Mark Weaver announced Monday.
"We are very excited to announce the signing of Kristina Paskauskas," Weaver said. "She comes in with a wealth of experience."
Paskauskas arrives to Aggieland after competing at NC State and Alabama. During the 2026 season at Alabama, she posted a 16-10 singles record while competing at the No. 1 position in the Crimson Tide lineup.
This season Paskauskas was slotted at No. 83 in the final ITA singles ranking, climbing as high as No. 41. She also earned a No. 81 ranking in doubles play. Her effort in the fall earned a spot in the NCAA Singles Championship.
"Anytime you can add a player that has experienced playing at the number 1 position in the SEC is saying a lot," Weaver said. "We will have a lot of new faces going into the 2026-2027 season, but we will be loaded with talent that is for sure."
Prior to Alabama, Paskauskas spent two seasons at NC State earning 23 victories overall. During the 2023-24 season, she finished 5-4 overall in singles, including a 4-2 mark in dual matches. She also went 3-1 in doubles play and posted a 2-0 record at No. 3 doubles.
As a freshman, Paskauskas notched a 5-4 singles record, including a 4-2 mark in dual matches. She went 1-0 at No. 5 singles and 3-2 at No. 6 singles. During the season, she won four consecutive singles matches in straight sets without an opponent winning more than three games in any set during the stretch. In doubles, she finished 3-1 overall and 2-0 at No. 3 doubles.
Before beginning her collegiate career, Paskauskas built an impressive resume on the international stage. She won the singles title at the W15 Monastir event in October 2022 and claimed doubles titles twice at the W15 Monastir championships in May and June 2022, earning her first ITF Pro Circuit title. She was named an ITF Junior singles champion in 2019 and a two-time ITF Junior doubles champion in 2019 and 2021.
