
Denton Adds Slovenian Davis Cup Member Artnak to Roster

COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M men's tennis head coach Steve Denton added Slovenian Davis Cup competitor Bor Artnak to the Aggies' 2026-27 roster.
Artnak, from Trbovlje, Slovenia, has been a member of his country's Davis Cup squad since 2021, compiling an 8-7 combined record with the team (7-6 in singles and 1-1 in doubles).
"Bor is a tremendous addition to our team and we are happy to have him," Denton said. "He has played in a lot of high-level matches and that experience in big matches will be an asset to our squad."
He played three seasons at Arizona State, where he earned Pac-12 All-Conference status as a freshman and All-Big 12 honors as a sophomore. He reached a career-high ITA ranks of No. 36 in singles and No. 15 in doubles. He compiled records of 34-16 in singles and 31-23 in doubles while leading the Sun Devils to three straight NCAA berths and two trips to the ITA Indoor National Championship.
He achieved a career-high ATP singles ranking of world No. 373 in 2024 and currently ranks No. 445. He is Slovenia's highest-ranked player in the ATP rankings. Artnak has won four ITF singles titles and one doubles title. On the junior tour, he had a career-high ITF combined ranking of No. 10, achieved in 2022.
