Over 50 years after their epic season, the 1967 Aggies remain one of the greatest turnaround stories ever told in College Football. After dropping their first 4 games, A&M won their last seven. Included in the improbable run was a 10-7 victory over Texas to claim the Southwest Conference championship. The season was capped in the Cotton Bowl where the Aggies triumphed over Alabama, 20-16, on New Year's Day of '68.
Edd Hargett quarterbacked the Aggies to this reversal of fortunes. In May he'll be recognized with his induction into the Cotton Bowl's Hall of Fame. He stepped into Studio 12 recently to remember '67. Enjoy Aggie Football's greatest comeback story on this edition of RECALL with Edd Hargett.
