2011 (FALL RESULTS): Went 5-5 in doubles, including 4-3 with Lauren Santacroce...The duo advanced to the semifinals at the HEB Baylor Invitational, knocking off top seeded Edyta Cieplucha and Heather Steinbauer of SMU in the round of 16...Went 3-11 in singles.
2010-11 (JUNIOR): Received the team's Spirit Award for 2011 for her outstanding and continuous support and encouragement for her teammates whether she was on the court or cheering from the sidelines...Made her second consecutive appearance on the Academic All-Big 12 First Team...Went 15-10 in doubles matches, including 8-6 in dual matches all at the No. 3 line...Appeared in only one singles match in the spring and finished 4-8 overall...Fall Results: Tied for the team lead with seven doubles victories...Went 7-4 overall, including 6-4 with Stephanie Davidson...The pair reached the semifinals at the season-opening Midland tournament...The duo dropped a first-round match at the Texas Regional before reeling off three consecutive wins to advance to the consolation semifinals...Also notched a win with Lauren Santacroce at the Kitty Harrison Invitational at North Carolina...Went 4-7 in singles...Won two matches at the ITA Texas Regional to reach the quarterfinals in the consolation bracket.
2009-10 (SOPHOMORE): Went 26-10 overall in doubles to lead the team with a .722 winning percentage and tie for most wins overall...Also tied for most wins in doubles dual matches only with a 16-8 record - all at the No. 3 line - as well as most wins in Big 12 Conference matches only at 7-4...Played the majority of dual doubles matches, including all 11 Big 12 matches, with junior Christi Liles, posting a 10-5 record...Also went 9-2 overall with freshman Nazari Urbina and 7-3 with junior Stephanie Davidson...Went 15-19 overall in singles, including 8-15 in dual matches...Saw action at the Nos. 3-6 positions but played the majority of her matches at No. 4, where she was 3-9...In her only career appearance at No. 3, came through with a must-have victory over Jamie Mera of Missouri to help A&M to a come-from-behind 4-3 victory over the Tigers...Earned Academic All-Big 12 First Team honors...Fall Results: Tied for second on the team for doubles victories with a 10-2 record during the fall season...Was an impressive 7-1 with rookie Nazari Urbina and together won the doubles title at the season-ending HEB Baylor Invitational...Also reached the semifinals with Urbina at the season opening Midland Racquet Club Invitational...Went 3-1 with Stephanie Davidson and reached the quarterfinals at the ITA Texas Regional...Posted a 7-4 record in singles with half of the losses coming in three-set matches...Advanced to the round of 16 at the HEB Baylor Invitational.
2008-09 (FRESHMAN): Was the Big 12 No. 3 doubles champion with partner Elzé Potgieter...The pair went 17-3 in dual matches, including 9-2 in conference play, and ended the season riding a six-match winning streak...Tied Potgieter for the team lead for most doubles victories overall with a 23-10 record...Was 16-13 overall in singles, including 9-10 in dual matches and 5-3 in Big 12 matches only...Played at the No. 4-6 spots, seeing the most action at No. 6 where she went 6-4...Fall Results: Made her collegiate debut by winning her first six singles matches, going undefeated at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic and advancing to the Flight III finals at the USTA/Billie Jean King National Tennis Center Women's College Invitational...Pushed 34th-ranked Taylor Ormond to three sets at the ITA Southwest Regional before falling, 6-4, in the final set...Teamed with Christina Amo and went 3-1 after advancing to the Flight III doubles finals at the USTA/Billie Jean King NTC Championships.
PREVIOUS ATHLETIC BACKGROUND: A four-star recruit by TennisRecruiting.net, was ranked as high as No. 27 in the nation in doubles...Was the winner of the 2004 Texas Open Championships...Was ranked No. 2 in the Missouri Valley Section in 16s singles and No. 1 in doubles and reached the round of 16 at the National 16 Clay Courts in singles and the quarterfinals in doubles in 2006...In 18s, was ranked No. 7 in singles in the Missouri Valley Section and No. 82 in the national rankings...Was the singles runner-up at both the Sweet 16 Missouri Valley Section tournament and at the Kansas State Tournament...Finished third with her dad in mixed open doubles at the 2007 USTA National Open Hard Court Championships in San Diego...Played her high school freshman year at Robert E. Lee High School in Tyler, Texas, and was the doubles district and regional champion and a state quarterfinalist, posting a 44-1 record with partner Andee Johnson...Played two years on the varsity tennis team at Washburn Rural High School in Topeka, Kan....Coach by Kevin Hedberg, helped lead the Junior Blue to a second-place team finish in 2006.
PERSONAL: Sheri Berryman Olivier is the daughter of Ken and Cheryl Olivier...Has a younger sister, Emily...Her father was an All-American tennis player at UT Tyler and led the Patriots to their first national title in 1989 and finished with a final collegiate ranking of No. 1 in the nation in both singles and doubles...Her mother played tennis at East Texas State...Sheri began playing tennis when she was three years old... Most memorable moment of pre-college career was winning a bronze ball with her father in a mixed doubles national open in San Diego in 2007...In addition to A&M, made official recruiting visits to Fresno State and St. Mary's (Calif.)...Chose to sign with the Aggies because, "I loved all the girls and coaches. I loved the traditions the school has and how it is so much like family"...Also wanted to get back to Texas, where she was born and raised until moving to Kansas when she was 15...Most memorable moment of A&M career was her freshman year "when I realized I had a fan club! They have 'Sher-Bear' shirts and everything, and they even came to watch us at NCAAs. I felt so honored. Favorite part about the sport of tennis: It's never over! There is no timekeeper and if you are determined enough there is nothing you can't do.
Favorite sport to play other than tennis: Probably football, but I'm not much for playing it. I just like to watch.

When I was little, I dreamed of being: a million things... astronaut, doctor, lawyer, zookeeper; I couldn't ever decide.
Something I've always wanted to do but haven't: To travel overseas, but hopefully going to do that within the next year.
The reality show I would most like to participate in is: I saw a commercial for a reality show called "The worst cooks in America", where they have to get better at cooking. I'd love to be on this show, so I could stop having to eat frozen dinners and cereal.
Few people know that I: Love watching cartoon movies, Despicable Me and The Princess and the Frog are my favorites right now!
My best non-athletic talent: singing the lyrics to Broadway shows like Wicked, Hairspray, Beauty and the Beast and Mama Mia: the only problem is I'm not a very good singer :/ which makes me so sad.
My most prized possession: My cowboy boots and the necklace my mom gave me when I went off to school
