- School record holder in the 200 backstroke (1:50.64 from the 2016 SEC Championships in Columbia, Mo.)
- School record holder in the 400 medley relay (3:27.60 from the 2017 NCAA Championships in Indianapolis, Ind.)
- 7-time All-American
- 2016 SEC Champion (200 IM, 200 backstroke)
2016-17 (Junior):
- Helped lead the Aggies to a program-best third-place finish at the NCAA Championships with honorable mention All-America finishes in the 200 back (16th) and 200 IM (14th)
- Swam the leadoff leg on the Aggies’ NCAA runner-up and SEC Champion 400 medley relay team that set the school record of 3:27.60 at the NCAA Championships
- Team leader in the 100 back (51.60) and 200 back (1:51.68)
- Posted NCAA A cuts in the 200 back and 200 IM (1:55.22) and B cuts in the 100 back and 400 IM (4:07.01)
- At SECs, Bratton was fifth in the 200 IM, ninth in the 400 IM and fifth in the 200 back
- At the 2017 Phillips 66 National Championships, Bratton was 10th in the 100 back, seventh in the 200 back and 11th in the 200 IM
- At the 2017 U.S. Open, Bratton placed second in the 200 back, third in the 100 back and fifth in the 200 IM … also swam the first leg of the Aggies’ winning 400 medley relay
2015-16 (Sophomore):
- 2016 SEC Champion in the 200 IM and the 200 backstroke
- Earned first-team All-America honors in the 200 and 400 IM and the 200 back, as well honorable mention honors with the 400 medley relay
- At the NCAA Championships, Bratton became the second swimmer in program history to earn a spot in three Championship finals at the same national meet
- Placed fourth in the 200 back, tied for fifth in the 200 IM and was seventh in the 400 IM … lowered her own school record in the 200 back to 1:50.64 at the SEC Championships
- Competed in the 100/200 back and 200/400 IM at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials
- Placed third in the 200 backstroke, missing an Olympic berth by just one spot
- Placed sixth in the 200 IM and won the consolation final of the 200 back at the 2016 US Open.
2014-2015 (Freshman):
- Had a busy summer before her freshman year, swimming in the 100 and 200 back at the Pan-Pacific Championships and winning the bronze medal in the 200 back (2:11.57) at the Phillips 66 US Nationals
- Made her mark in Aggieland early, becoming the A&M record-holder in the 200 back (1:52.11) at the NCAA Championships while also setting a personal best in the 200 IM (1:56.58) and finishing the 400 IM in 4:09.01, earning All-America honors in each
- Had a nice outing at the Art Adamson Invitational, setting personal bests in the 100 back (53.99), 50 free (24.18), and 100 free (51.53)
- Sported the second-fastest time of the year for the Aggies in the 400 IM (4:08.09) at the SEC Championships
- Finished in first place five times in the 200 back in 2014.
High School/Club:
- 2014 graduate from Delta High School (STEM School) in Richland where she graduated as salutatorian
- Coached by Randy Willis
- Five-time state champion
- Set seven school records
- Competed for 10 years for Tri-City Channel Cats club team under coach Todd Stafic and earned the Inland Empire Swimmer of the Year
- Lisa Bratton is the daughter of Cristy and Wes Bratton and has one older sister, Amanda
- Born on May 5, 1996 in Randolph, Vermont
- Has one other aggie in her family, her grandfather Jimmy Bratton ’63
- Collegiate athletes in her family include her father, Wes a swimmer at Texas Tech and her uncle Scott Eddings and cousin Ari Eddings who both competed in track and field at the University of New Mexico
- Chose A&M because “it provided me with a strong academic school for engineering and the swim program is very competitive. I have family in Texas, so it made going a ways from home easier.”
