Toppled South Carolina's No. 60 Sarah Hamner/Ayana Akli for her first ranked doubles win of the season and totaled 11 ranked wins on the season across three partners (Mary Stoiana, Carson Branstine and Salma Ewing), bested the No. 1 team in the nation in North Carolina's Carson Tanguilig/Fiona Crawley at the ITA National Team Indoor Championships... Jayci Goldsmith was born in Dripping Springs, Texas, to Doug and Brandi Goldsmith… She is one of three children and has two sisters, Keeley and Stormie… The senior attended Dripping Springs High School… Was rated a blue chip recruit by TennisRecruiting.net and placed as the No. 16 player nationally… She received her Aggie Ring in the spring of 2021 and expects to graduate from Texas A&M in the spring of 2022 with a Bachelor’s degree in University Studies, along with minors in human resources and communications… Goldsmith is a two time selection to the SEC Academic Honor Roll in 2020 and 2021… Serves as the Director of Marketing for WE3, an organization for female student-athletes at Texas A&M… Represents women’s tennis on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)… Looks to utilize her college education to find a career in pharmaceutical or medical sales… In her spare time, she enjoys going hunting, fishing, going to the lake and spending time with family and friends.
