2021 (SOPHOMORE)
Has started in seven games this season for the Aggies… Recorded a double against Tulsa (2/27).
2020 (FRESHMAN)
Appeared and started in all 26 games for the Maroon & White… Led the team in doubles (13) and tallied 15 RBI, ranking third on the team… Ranked second in the nation in doubles and eighth in doubles per game...Finished her rookie campaign ranked third on the team with a .329 batting average on 23 hits...Two doubles shy of moving into fifth place in a single season for doubles...Hit a grand slam against Abilene Christian (2/9)…Had a hit vs. No. 5 Arizona (2/20)… Went 2-for-2 against Kansas (3/1)… Recorded a double vs. No. 10 Kentucky (3/9).
PREVIOUS ATHLETIC EXPERIENCE
Was a four-year starting shortstop where she began her career at Channelview High School and finished her last three years at Kingwood High School...In the start of her career she was named rookie of the year and was awarded all-academic team…In 2016 she was named First Team All-District, All-Academic Team, and Kingwood High School Rookie of the Year…In 2017 she was again named First Team All-District, earned a spot on the All-Academic Team...Named Kingwood High School Offensive MVP and was on the TGCA 6A All-Star Team, and was named to the Extra Inning Softball First Team, and an All-American in the infield.. She finished her high school career as District Offensive MVP, First Team All-District, Academic All-District, KHS MVP, KHS Offensive MVP, KHS Workhorse, was a member of the TGCA Legacy All-Star Team, TGCA 6A All State Team, All Greater Houston Softball – First Team, Collin Street Bakery/TSWA All State Team – First Team and Shortstop, and lastly PGF High School All American East Team…Played three years of summer softball for Impact Gold under KC Jackson…Led the team to a ninth place finish two years in a row at PGF and BDT 7th place… Most memorable moment of her high school career was helping her team win the Bryan-College Station tournament.
PERSONAL
Majoring in Kinesiology… Wants to become a physical therapist after graduation… Began playing softball when she was seven years old… Her father, Sam Campbell played basketball for Rice University…Made her only official visit to Texas A&M…Chose to attend Texas A&M because “I love the culture and the family environment.”… Hobbies include sleeping, eating, painting and coaching.
