ABOUT ZAAY
2020-21 (JUNIOR AT TEXAS A&M)
Arrived in Aggieland following a two-year stretch at the University of Tennessee… Appeared in 17 games for the Maroon & White, averaging nine minutes of playing time per contest… Averaged 2.9 points per game on a .390 shooting percentage… Made her debut appearance in Texas A&M’s record-setting win over Northwestern State, scoring a season-high 10 points with four assists, two steals and a block in 16 minutes of play (Dec. 28)… Scored four points with three rebounds and a season-best tying four assists in the Aggies’ first SEC win of the season over Florida (Jan. 3)… Provided crucial bench scoring in A&M’s rematch win over LSU, scoring six points on three made field goal attempts.
2019-20 (SOPHOMORE AT TENNESSEE)
Appeared in the Lady Volunteers first two games of the season, starting both… Averaged 13 points, 4.5 rebounds and two assists before having her season cut short due to injury.
2018-19 (FRESHMAN AT TENNESSEE)
Played in all 32 games as a freshman, making 24 starts... Finished the season with an SEC All-Freshman Team selection… Averaged 9.6 points while hauling in four rebounds and dishing out 2.3 assists per game… Served as Tennessee’s third-highest scorer and rebounder in SEC play, averaging 10.3 points and 4.8 rebounds… Put up double-digit points on 14 occasions and had three or more assists in 10 games… Logged a career-high in points (25), rebounds (11), assists (6) and steals (5) during her first season… Named SEC Freshman of the Week on Dec. 4 and Jan. 29.
