PREVIOUS ATHLETIC EXPERIENCE
Enrolled at Texas A&M in January 2019 after spending the last two years as a starting libero for coach Candice Fuchs at Cypress Ranch High School…Is the Mustangs’ record holder for most digs in a match, season and career…Was a two-time all-district first-team selection and was named the District 14-6A co-defensive player of the year as a senior after leading Cypress Ranch to the district championship….Played eight years of club indoor volleyball, most recently competing for Houston Juniors... Her 17 HJV Elite team placed 13th in the 17 Open Division at the 2018 USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championships, and her 16 HJV Elite team finished 10th at the 2017 national tournament…Also competed in beach volleyball and qualified for the GJNC beach nationals all six years as well as AAU nationals each of the last two years.
PERSONAL
Began playing volleyball when she was nine years old…Her Father, Tommy, and her Uncle, Chris were members of the Texas A&M swimming and diving team…Her aunt, Shelby also attended A&M…Chose to pursue volleyball because she had the best time playing the game…Describes herself as fun on the court, but serious as well…Her strength is defense…Made her only official recruiting visit to Texas A&M…Chose Texas A&M because “A&M felt like home to me and I have loved coming here since I was little, but also loved the volleyball here.”…Most memorable athletic moment at Texas A&M was senior night in 2019... Looks forward to receiving her Aggie Ring in September of 2021... Hobbies include beach volleyball and cleaning/organizing…Is majoring in psychology.
