Texas A&M Spanish Radio

Texas A&M's Spanish Radio Network for Aggie Football is in its fourth season, covering the state's major markets with affiliates in Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth, San Antonio, El Paso, McAllen, and Bryan-College Station. Developed in conjunction with Texas A&M Athletics' multimedia rights holder, Learfield Sports' Texas A&M Ventures, the six-station Spanish network is believed to be the largest in the country for college football.
The Texas A&M Spanish Network will carry all of the Aggies' regular season games as well as any postseason contests. Fans will hear complete football game coverage in Spanish on their hometown radio stations – Univision Radio's KLAT 1010 AM (Houston); Salem Media Group's KRDY – AM 1160 Radio Luz (San Antonio); Univision Radio's KAMA 750 AM (El Paso); MBM Radio's XEGH-AM 620 (McAllen/Brownsville) and Bryan Broadcasting's 1550 AM (Bryan-College Station).
Additionally, game coverage will be streamed on 12thMan.com/allaccess. Select Spanish-language football broadcasts may also be available on satellite radio via Sirius XM on a week-to-week basis.
The Texas A&M Spanish Network – featuring Pedro Vela Almaguer as play-by-play broadcaster and Noel Orellana as color commentator – will complement the existing nearly 60 English radio affiliates encompassing the Texas A&M Sports Network. Almaguer previously worked for Univision in Houston and served on the Houston Texans' broadcast team.
Learfield has long been immersed in the collegiate athletics landscape. In addition to Texas A&M, the company manages the multimedia and sponsorship rights for more than 120 collegiate institutions, conferences and arenas, in addition to supporting athletic departments at all competitive levels as title sponsor of the prestigious Learfield Directors' Cup.
