2015 SEC Cross Country Championships

Welcome to the home of the 2015 Southeastern Conference Cross Country championships.
Texas A&M's brand-new Watts Cross Country Course will host this year's event, which takes place on Friday, October 30.
The men's 8k begins at 10 a.m., while the women's 6k starts at 11 a.m.
Watts Cross Country Course
The Dale Watts '71 Cross Country Course, opened in the fall of 2014, is located within the new Hildebrand Equine Complex at 3242 F and B Road. The facility is accessible from F and B Road off the corner intersection with 2818.
“Having our own course is really a great addition for Texas A&M,” noted Texas A&M head coach Pat Henry. “Being able to run at home is a great thing for our program."
“The new course provides unlimited opportunities for us,” said Aggie assistant coach Wendel McRaven. “It’s a great place to train and now we can schedule home meets whenever we need to. It gives us a lot of flexibility."
- As new venue, the Watts course is already the premier cross country course in the state of Texas.
- In 2015 it will serve as host to the SEC Championships and the NCAA South Central Region meet.
- Versatility of course enables races in range from 2 km to 10 km distances.
- Wide starting area combined with ample racing room during first 1,000m of course enable it to host championship-level events.
- Venue will also host high school, community and age-group races.
- Scenic course features tree-lined areas as well as sections that are heavily wooded.
- Berm along the wide-open finish area offers views to a majority of the venue during races.
- Fast course which provides good footing throughout races of any distance.


Driving Directions
The Watts Cross Country Course is located directly behind the new Hildebrand Equine Complex on the corner of F and B Road and FM 2818 (Harvey Mitchell Pkwy) in College Station.
Patrons are asked to park in the Equine Complex parking lot and then make the short walk to the course's start/finish line.
For GPS units, a good address to use is 3242 F and B Road, College Station.
