Dan Murany
Dan Murany Served in the Marines from 2007-2012 as a Signals Intelligence Operator and achieved the rank of E4/Corporal. During this time Dan was deployed to Afghanistan in 2010. After his discharge is 2012, Dan Attended Blinn College before transferring to Texas A&M. Dan graduated In 2017 and received his Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Leadership & Development and is currently working towards his Master’s in Education. In addition to his academics, Dan has served as the Athletics Coordinator for the Veteran Resource & Support Center since the summer of 2015 and has been instrumental in organizing all military appreciation games throughout Texas A&M Athletics. After graduation Dan plans to teach high school history.

Michael Fincher
Michael Fincher, Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2012, graduated with a degree in Animal Science and worked at the Texas A&M Vet School as a vet tech after college. After graduation, Michael spent time in Alaska with the Texas A&M Baptist Student Ministry doing mission work with Alaskan youth. He’s always felt a calling to serve, and it was only 3 years after graduation that he decided to fulfill his desire to serve our country. He joined the Army in 2015 and is currently stationed in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, as an infantryman in the 2nd Brigade Combat Team with the 82nd Airborne. He just returned last month from his first deployment to Iraq. His favorite traditions are those having to do with the Spirit of Aggieland - Silver Taps and Muster.

Stephani Luebben
Stephani Luebben , Fightin’ Texas Aggie class of 2018; served 16.5 years in the United States Air Force. She enlisted here in College Station in 1998 and while Enlisted she served as a Financial Manager. She then served in Security Forces and as a Joint Strategic Level Planner for Weapons of Mass Destruction Elimination as an officer. journeyman During her 16.5 years of service, Stephani was deployed to both Iraq and Qatar, and achieved the rank of Major. Stephani retired from active duty in 2014 and is now working towards her degree in Construction Science.

David Eubank
David Eubank, Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 1983 and a former U.S. Army Special Forces and Ranger officer, is the founder and leader of the Free Burma Rangers (FBR), a humanitarian service movement for oppressed ethnic minorities of all races and religions in the Burma, Kurdistan and Sudan war zones. Along with relief, his personal mission is to share the love of Jesus Christ and to help people be free from oppression. FBR teams are comprised of men and women of different ethnicities and faiths that are united for freedom by the bond of love and service. David, his wife Karen and their three children: Sahale, 15; Suuzanne, 13; and Peter, 10; work alongside the 70 ethnic FBR relief teams in the conflict areas of Burma giving help, hope and love and recently began relief missions to help the Kurds under attack by ISIS in Iraq. FBR also conducts relief missions in the Nuba Mountains of Sudan. The Eubank family started the Global Day of Prayer for Burma and the Good Life Club family outreach program.

Chris Rubio
Chris Rubio served as a Navy Corpsman for 10 years, achieving the rank of Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class. Petty Officer Rubio served 2 tours in Iraq and served overseas in Japan and Bahrain. At Texas A&M, Chris is working towards his degree in Leadership, with minors in both Biology and Public Health and is expected to graduate in 2018. Chris currently serves as the president of "Aggies Support USO", which is the first and only collegiate chapter of the USO in the country.

Jarrod Romine
Jarrod Romine is a 2017 Tillman Scholar; served as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps, deployed four times, including with the Marine Raiders, the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, and with 1st Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company. During his military service Jarrod worked training, advising, and assisting numerous foreign military forces, was designated an Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist, and awarded the Navy Marine Corps Commendation Medal with bronze “V” for action taken during combat operations in Afghanistan.
Jarrod is currently the Operations Sergeant for Delta Company in the Corps of Cadets, a junior working towards his degree in Political Science, plans on pursuing graduate studies in International Affairs, as well as medical school, and works with The Warrior Scholar Project at Texas A&M, which provides academic transition and success seminars free-of-charge to student veterans who want to attend Top Tier Universities.

Nethaniel Gjesdal
Army Veteran Nethaniel Gjesdal Class of 2018’ is from West Monroe, Louisiana. Specialist Gjesdal served a tour in Iraq as an Airborne Medic from 2007-2008. Nethaniel now serves as the President of the Student Veterans Association and is working towards his degree in Sociology. Nethaniel’s favorite tradition at Texas A&M is Silver Taps because he believes in the importance of honoring those Aggies that are no longer with us.
