MISSION
The Student Athlete Advisory Committee advocates for the welfare of student-athletes in athletics, on campus, within the SEC, and the NCAA. This includes fostering open lines of communication to ensure that student athletes can share their experience & concerns effectively. SAAC focuses on enhancing interactive opportunities among student athletes, coaches, and administrators, promoting collaboration and understanding. Student athletes are encouraged to use their voices to share relevant information with peers and the broader campus community, all while embodying the core values of Texas A&M.
The Selfless Service community engagement program encourages, streamlines and tracks the community involvement of all student-athletes. Our Selfless Service Ambassador Program encourages members from SAAC to serve as key community service liaisons within their teams. This program was created to help deepen connections and give student-athletes more autonomy when it comes to the direct impact they can have on their local communities thorough their service efforts.
