2026 Texas A&M Baseball Walk-On Tryouts

Howdy!
Thank you for inquiring about our Fall 2025 baseball tryouts. At this time, we are currently evaluating our roster depth to determine how many roster spots are available, if any.
Any interested walk-ons must attend a MANDATORY meeting on Tuesday, September 2 at 4 p.m. at the Diamond Club in Blue Bell Park.
Please register at the link below and bring the required paperwork (available below) if you have not already submitted it.
Requirements
- Must currently be enrolled in at least 12 hours of class at Texas A&M, College Station (Full-Time Students).
- Must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.0 and meet the percentage for degree requirement established by the NCAA.
- Must have a completed physical within the past six months from the tryout date (March 2025 - present), you may utilize the current UIL physical form to take to your physician.
- Must have class schedule set for MORNING classes so that you can attend practices/meetings and weightlifting times.
- Must provide us with a Sickle Cell Test result. Results can take up to a week of lab processing time. You can obtain one at a medical facility of your choice or at Student Health Services. You will NOT be allowed to try-out without providing results of this test.
- Must provide copies of health insurance, front and back copies of insurance card.
- Must be cleared on eligibility issues, by compliance, and by medical staff.
Some Things to Know
- Failure to meet any of the requirements listed above will result in your inability to participate in our walk-on tryout.
- Spots are not guaranteed. We have a roster limit and reserve the right to make cuts.
- If you don't make the team this time, you can try out again at a later walk-on tryout date.
