Texas A&M Women’s Basketball presents its inaugural Toddler Trot presented by H-E-B!
Join Aggie Women’s Basketball on Sunday, February 15 as they host the Toddler Trot and take on Auburn. ‘Lil Ags will be selected to walk across the court at halftime of the game. The winner will receive a $250 gift card courtesy of H-E-B.
To nominate a ‘lil Ag, fill out the form at the link below by Sunday, February 8.
From these submissions, toddlers will be selected to participate in the halftime race. Those that are selected to participate will receive an email with additional details by Tuesday, February 10th.
Everyone who submits a completed nomination form will receive a promo code for discounted tickets to the game. Once the final participants are selected, each toddler will receive two (2) complimentary game tickets for their two (2) guardians that will be participating in the halftime race. All other family members must purchase a game ticket using the promo code for discounted tickets.
To be eligible to participate, babies must be 12-18 months old and able to walk. Toddlers that are older or younger than 12-18 months or who can’t walk are NOT eligible to participate.
Additional Rules & Details:
- Participating babies must be 12-18 months old. Toddlers over the age of 18 months at the time of the race are not eligible to participate.
- Participating babies must be able to walk to participate. Toddlers who cannot walk are not eligible to participate.
- Two individuals must escort and accompany the participating toddler to the basketball game and will be permitted on the court at halftime.
- The two individuals escorting the toddler may use objects (toys, keys, etc.) to encourage the toddler during the race.
- The race will extend from the baseline towards half court, approximately 42 feet, and participating toddlers must walk from half court to the marked finish line.
- The first participating toddler to successfully walk the approximately 42 feet and cross the marked finish line will be deemed the winner.
- Should no toddler cross the finish line in the three (3) minutes allotted, the toddler that has walked the farthest distance will be the winner.
