Tanner Carlson enters his first year with Texas A&M baseball as Director of Player and Program Development.
A native of Elk Grove, Calif., joins the staff after spending the 2024 and 2025 seasons as an Assistant Director of Operations for the Cal State Fullerton baseball program.
As a player, Carlson appeared in 138 games over five years of college baseball, spending 2019-2022 at Long Beach State before finishing his career at Texas in 2023. Carlson boasted a .294 batting average with 59 runs scored and 48 RBI over his five-year career.
Carlson’s brother, Dylan, was a first-round draft pick by the St. Louis Cardinals in 2016, and has spent time with Cardinals, Rays and Orioles during his six years in the MLB.
