AT MIDWEST CITY HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Coach Craig Troxell and Coach Jay Vermillion… hit .451 with five home runs and 36 RBI as a senior to earn Oklahoma Coaches Association All-Oklahoma, OCA All-Region 8 and Big All-City First Team from The Oklahoman... was a standout on the Bombers football squad, earning two letters as a QB... threw for 1,500 yards and helped Midwest City to an undefeated regular-season as a junior, but missed senior year due to an arm injury... played summer baseball for the Oklahoma Outlaws, winning the American Legion World Series in 2010.
