2022 (FRESHMAN): Appeared nine times out of the bullpen for the Aggies holding a 1-0 record with seven strikeouts and a 7.98 ERA in 14.2 innings pitched this season... in 2.1 innings pitched at Alabama(4/2) tallied two strikeouts... earned first career win at Texas (3/29) with two strikeouts in 3.0 innings pitched.

AT ANNA HIGH SCHOOL: Four-time letter winner for Coach Joey Hector... helped the Coyotes reach area finals as a senior in 2021… batted .525 with 30 runs, two home runs, 11 doubles, one triple, and 32 RBI in 2021... posted a 10-0 record with a one save, a 0.62 ERA, 121 strikeouts and seven walks in 68.0 innings as a senior... set school single-season records for wins and strikeouts… was a unanimous selection for District 9-4A MVP as a senior... garnered Dallas Morning News All-DFW and earned Texas High School Coaches Baseball Association All-Star status in 2021... named First-Team 2020 Collegiate Baseball High School All-American First Team as a junior in 2020... named District 9-4A Offensive MVP, Dallas Morning News All-DFW First Team and Class 4A All-State as a shortstop in 2019... hit .621 with six home runs, six doubles, five triples, 27 RBI as a sophomore... posted a 5-3 record with a 1.24 ERA and 76 strikeouts in 45.1 innings as a sophomore... received District 9-4A Newcomer of the Year and team went to the Bi-District Finals as a freshman in 2018... batted .488 with 38 runs, one home run, 11 doubles, seven triples and 21 RBI as a freshman... tallied a 6-3 record with a 2.42 ERA and 107 strikeouts in 63.2 innings in 2018... enjoyed three stints with USA Baseball youth national teams, including a 14U trip to Panama, a 15U trip to Colombia that resulted in a gold medal and a 18U trip to South Korea that earned a silver medal.

PERSONAL: Joseph Rawlings Hector was born on June 19, 2002 in Longview... his father, Joey Hector, played baseball for Arkansas State... he was Academic All-State, a part of the National Honor Society, and FCA President... majoring in sports management and wants to own his own baseball facility, or be an advisor for an agency, he also enjoys hanging out with friends and family, fishing, and golfing.
