AT GRAPEVINE HIGH SCHOOL:Â Three-year letter winner for Coach Jimmy Webster at Grapevine High School... despite the senior season being cut short, hit .370 with seven RBI, a .528 slugging percentage and .528 on-base percentage in his final season in 2020... led his team to the first round of the playoffs during his junior campaign, hitting .391 with 27 RBI, 17 runs, a .602 slugging percentage and a .479 on-base percentage in 2019... earned All-District 7-5A First Team as an outfielder in 2019... was voted team Offensive MVP and tallied a 13-game hitting streak in the season... batted .406 with seven RBI, nine runs, a .469 slugging percentage and a .462 on-base percentage as a sophomore in 2018... played summer ball for Texas Stix.
