2023 (FRESHMAN): Made 14 appearances on the mound, two of those starts... registered a 6.39 ERA with a 1-3 record striking out 14 and walking 15 in 25.1 innings pitched... against Texas (3/28) he compiled three strikeouts and allowed no runs in 3.0 IP... in his first appearance on the mound this season Sexton struck out two in 2.1 innings versus Lamar (2/21).

AT LAKE CREEK HIGH SCHOOL: Three-time letter winner for Coach Jeremy Schram at Lake Creek High School in Montgomery, Texas... posted a 7-1 record with an 0.86 ERA, 0.669 WHIP and 61 strikeouts in 48.2 innings as a senior in 2021... earned All-District 20-5A Second Team and All-Montgomery County Second Team in in 2021... threw Lake Creek’s first perfect game against A&M Consolidated in the Lions’ first playoff game in school history... logged a 1.50 ERA and struck out five in 9.1 innings in COVID-shortened 2020 campaign… also hit .323 with seven runs, three doubles and nine RBI in 2020... logged a 1-0 record with a 2.33 ERA and five strikeouts in two games in 2019... played summer ball for Twelve.
