AT WESTFIELD HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letter winner and senior captain for Coach Mario Barrett at Westfield High School in Houston... named a Texas Sports Writers Association 6A All-State Honorable Mention outfielder as a senior in 2019... earned All-America Honorable Mention along with All-Region First Team by Perfect Game prior to his senior season... tabbed Underclass All-America honors in his sophomore and junior year... was a three-time All-District 16-6A performer, including First Team as an outfielder in 2018 and 2019... played in the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Class 6A/5A All-Star Game in Round Rock and Houston Area Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Game in Sugar Land in 2019... batted .450 with 25 runs and three home runs as a senior in 2019.
