Brad Minter joined the Texas A&M football staff in December 2023 as assistant director of football strength & conditioning.
In his role on Mike Elko’s staff, Minter works with the defensive line and linebackers and assists with implementing speed, agility and change-of-direction programs for the football team, as well as return-to-play protocols. He has certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association and USA Weightlifting.
Prior to his arrival in Aggieland, Minter served stints as associate director for football sports performance at Boise State University (2023) and the University of Louisiana (2022), as well as a three-year appointment at Virginia Tech (2019-21).
Previously, he was a strength & conditioning graduate assistant at Mercer University where he designed training programs for the soccer and track & field teams and assisted with football, lacrosse and baseball. Additionally, he served internships at LSU and the University of South Carolina.
Minter graduated from Furman University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in health sciences in 2017. He was a four-year football letterman for the Paladins and served on the team’s Leadership Council as a junior and senior.
