Brandon Sanders arrived in Aggieland in January of 2018. He spent his first four seasons as an assistant strength & conditioning coach with the Texas A&M football program before being promoted to head strength & conditioning coach for football in January of 2022.
Prior to his time at A&M, Sanders spent 11 years at Florida State, working with head football coach Jimbo Fisher as an assistant strength & conditioning coach.
During his time in Tallahassee, Sanders was a member of the Seminole coaching staff that won the 2013 BCS National Championship, three ACC Championships and appeared in seven bowl games, including the 2014 College Football Playoff.
Sanders has coached over 78 NFL Draft selections and 12 first round picks.
Sanders began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at NC State in 2004 following his playing career. He played center for the Wolfpack after completing a postgraduate year at Hargrave Military Academy. In 2007, Sanders was named an assistant strength & conditioning coach at Florida State before being promoted to head assistant strength & conditioning coach in 2013.
The Garner, N.C., native became a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) though the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) in 2007. He and his wife Michela have two children, John Thomas and Julia.
