Brandy Douglass has served as an assistant athletics director and assistant to the head football coach at Texas A&M since August 2020 and has nearly two decades of high-level administrative experience at Texas A&M University.
Douglass returned to Aggieland in 2020 after a one-year stint as chief of staff for LSU Athletics, where she provided executive and operational support to the athletics director, serving as a key liaison with senior staff, campus leadership and donors while overseeing communications, meetings, compliance coordination and event logistics.
Prior to her time at Baton Rouge, Douglass had more than a decade of service at Texas A&M. She was chief of staff for Texas A&M Athletics from 2014-19 where she provided strategic and operational support to the athletics director, serving as a key liaison with senior staff, campus leadership and departmental personnel while coordinating meetings, events and executive initiatives.
Before joining Athletics, Douglass was the Assistant to the associate vice chancellors and coordinator of alumni relations for Texas A&M AgriLife from 2008-14. In this role, Douglass provided executive and administrative support to the associate vice chancellors, overseeing scheduling, travel, correspondence, donor and alumni engagement and major events.
A native of Anderson, Texas, Douglass graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Recreation, Park and Tourism Sciences. She is married to Noble Douglass. Together they have three children - Adam King and wife Sara, Lindsey Coats and husband Eric, and Lauren West and husband Cody and four grandchildren, Addilyn and Makenna King and Kannon and Briley Coats.
