Delaney Mitchell joined the Texas A&M football staff in July 2025 as the performance nutrition fellow.
Mitchell came to Aggieland after completing dietetic internships at Maria Parham Health and Duke University, where she worked with patients and student-athletes to provide nutrition assessments, hydration support and individualized nutrition plans.
Prior to her internships, Mitchell served as a graduate assistant for performance nutrition with the Clemson University football team, collaborating with athletic training, strength and conditioning, coaching and culinary staff to deliver comprehensive nutrition and performance plans for student-athletes.
Earlier in her career, Mitchell interned with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Performance Nutrition, preparing recovery drinks and meals, managing inventory, and implementing nutrition education for NFL athletes. She began her journey as a performance nutrition student-scholarship intern with Clemson Football.
Mitchell earned her master’s degree in food, nutrition and culinary sciences and her bachelor’s degree in food science and human nutrition from Clemson, with a minor in sports communication and a certificate of public health.
