Throughout his career, Miller has worked alongside 101 NFL Draft picks and contributed to five consensus top-10 national recruiting classes during stops at Texas A&M, Louisiana State University and the University of Southern California. He has established a reputation for roster construction, player evaluation, recruiting strategy and organizational leadership across multiple Power Four programs.
At Texas A&M, Miller oversees key areas of the football operation, including revenue share budget, recruiting strategy, roster management and scouting initiatives. During the 2025 season, Texas A&M earned the program’s first appearance in the College Football Playoff. Following the season, the Aggies produced 10 NFL Draft selections in the 2026 NFL Draft, the most in the Southeastern Conference and a program record in the seven-round draft era.
During his time in Durham, Miller helped rebuild the Blue Devils' roster, transforming a program that had gone 5-18 overall and 1-17 in ACC play over the previous two seasons into one that posted a 17-9 overall record and a 9-7 mark in conference play, while earning consecutive bowl game victories. He also played a key role in player evaluation and the development of the program's recruiting strategy.
Prior to Duke, Miller spent the 2021 season at East Carolina University as director of player personnel and recruiting. At ECU, he coordinated prospect visits, evaluation schedules, walk-on tryouts, and creative media oversight.
Before his time at East Carolina, Miller served at his alma mater, Bowling Green State University, where he was promoted from director of football operations and player personnel to general manager. In 2020, he directed all non-coaching aspects of the program, including budget management, recruiting operations, team travel and daily football operations.
Miller also served as assistant director of personnel at LSU (2014-15, 2017) and USC (2016). At LSU, he evaluated national prospects, coordinated recruiting travel and served as the program’s NFL liaison. At USC, he coordinated and presented prospect film evaluations to offensive staff members, oversaw student employees and assisted the special teams coordinator during the Trojans’ 2017 Rose Bowl-winning season.
Additionally, Miller worked alongside elite collegiate running backs including Leonard Fournette, Derrius Guice and Ronald Jones II, all of whom became NFL Draft selections and finished their collegiate careers ranked among the top-five all-time rushing leaders at their respective schools.
Miller began his football career as a student manager at Bowling Green under head coach Dave Clawson while Elko served as defensive coordinator. He graduated in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in sports management and a minor in psychology and was part of Bowling Green’s 2013 Mid-American Conference championship staff.
