2010 (Junior): Appeared in all 13 games as a key reserve on the offensive line ... one of the first linemen to come in to backup the young group up front.
2009 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in all 12 games ... two starts came at left tackle against New Mexico (9/5) and UAB (9/26) ... has also seen action at right tackle ... usually one of the first linemen off the bench at either tackle position.
2008 (Freshman): Saw action in nine games at tight end and offensive line ... began the season as an offensive lineman but also contributed as a blocking tight end ... started at tight end against Miami (9/20) and right guard against Texas (11/27).
2007: Redshirted.
High School: Earned second-team all-state honors by the TSWA after producing 39 "pancake" blocks and allowing just one sack as senior at Elkins High School ... cleared holes for an offense that averaged 317 yards of total offense per game ... named to the All-Greater Houston team by the Houston Chronicle ... two-time first-team all-district offensive lineman ...
