HIGH SCHOOL: Coached by Randy Allen at Highland Park High School ... was a first-team all-area and all-state selection as  a senior, leading the Scots to the district title and the state championship game ... totaled 1,400 yards and 22 touchdowns as a senior ... racked up 800 yards and seven scores as a junior ... a two-time all-state selection in baseball ... off the field, was a member of the National Honor Society, FCA and the Pre-Med Club.
