Was poised for a strong senior season, but went down with an
injury after three games (all starts) at defensive end … received a medical
redshirt … contributed two tackles including a half-tackle for loss of yardage
… made the move from noseguard to end during spring drills.
2010 (JUNIOR)
Moved inside during fall camp and quickly emerged as
a key contributor … earned the starting job at noseguard by midseason and
started the final seven games of the season … active defender who made 41
tackles, including 3.5 for a loss of 20 yards … batted down a pass and forced
a fumble … saw action in all 13 games.
2008-09 (BLINN COLLEGE)Coached by Brad Franchione at Blinn College (Brenham, Texas) ... earned SuperPrep JUCO 100 honors as a sophomore (2009) after registering 34 tackles, nine for loss ... helped lead the Buccaneers to the NJCAA national championship ... had 37 stops, including five for loss and three sacks, as a freshman (2008) ... chose Texas A&M over offers from Arkansas, Houston, Arizona and Texas Tech.
