2013 (JUNIOR)
Started and played in the first two games of the season … contributed four tackles, including a solo stop against Rice (Aug. 31) … added an assisted tackle for loss against the Owls.
2012 (SOPHOMORE)
Saw action in 11 games and logged six tackles with two solo stops and 1.5 tackles for a total loss of 10 yards … recorded one sack for 10 yards and broke up one pass.
2011 (FRESHMAN): Saw action in 10 games and contributed four tackles at outside linebacker.
HIGH SCHOOL
Coached by Ray Zepeda at Galena Park High School … earned District 19-4A Defensive Co-MVP honors after making 65 tackles, 12 sacks, 3 caused fumbles and one blocked punt returned for a TD as a senior … as a junior, Taylor had 70 tackles, nine sacks, two forced fumbles and a blocked punt returned for a score.
