- Earned second-Team District 12-5A honors as a senior after making 54 tackles, 7 sacks and 7 QBH.
- Helped lead the Hawks to a 6-5 record and into the 5A Div. II playoffs.
- As a junior, was the District 10-4A Player of the Year after making 69 tackles with 12 quarterback sacks, 14 QB pressures and three fumble recoveries.
- Named second-Team All-Area by the Dallas Morning News in 2011.
- Chose Texas A&M over Syracuse, SMU, North Texas and Tulsa.
