Jacob Gregory is in his first season at Texas A&M after joining coach Elko’s staff in May of 2026 as a defensive analyst.
Gregory joined the Aggies after a four-year playing career at the United States Naval Academy, where he competed from 2017-20. Gregory graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Research before rejoining the Navy football team as a graduate assistant for the 2021 season. As a grad assistant for the Midshipmen, Gregory provided the coaching staff with detailed scouting reports, analyzed opponents' game film, and led the offensive scout team.
Following his playing career, Gregory was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps. His military service included an assignment as a supply officer with the 2nd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, where he was responsible for leading and managing the supply team, budget formulation and execution, property accountability, procurement processes, and warehousing operations.
A native of Suwanee, Georgia, Gregory was a standout at Centennial High School, where he earned All-State honors as a senior, was a first-team all-region selection in his final two seasons and served as team captain and MVP.
