Joe Joe Headen enters his third seasons at Texas A&M in 2026, first as an offensive analyst after serving as a scouting director for two seasons.
Prior to joining the Aggies, Headen spent three seasons at Virginia Tech, where he was promoted to assistant director of player personnel in August 2023 after serving as the Hokies' assistant director of player engagement in 2022 and 2021.
In his personnel role, Headen assisted with all aspects of Virginia Tech's recruiting efforts, including overseeing campus visits and hosting prospects, families and guests. He also handled scouting assignments, the walk-on program and assisted with NFL scouts visiting campus.
A native of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Headen played collegiately at Old Dominion from 2016-21, appearing in 49 games with 32 starts in the secondary. He recorded 155 career tackles and four interceptions, including a program-record 89-yard interception return against Charlotte in 2021.
While at Old Dominion, Headen earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and finance before completing a master's degree in public administration.
