Before A&M
Played two seasons at Lee College in Baytown, Texas, for head coach Roy Champagne … helped lead the Rebels to the NJCAA Region 14 Championship and the school’s first-ever appearance in the NJCAA National Tournament in 2012-13 … averaged 7.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists as a sophomore … enjoyed a standout prep career at Spring High School under the direction of coach Chris Bailes … earned all-state and all-district accolades while setting team records in scoring and assists … averaged 20 points and four rebounds per contest as a senior while helping lead SHS to a district championship … played AAU with the Houston Superstars, enjoying a 36-point game during his time with the squad.
