Cross Country (2016) – Raced in five meets during the season, including SEC Championships as ninth finisher for Aggies.

PERSONAL: Kelsey Emma Persyn was born on August 1, 1996 in San Antonio, Texas … Daughter of Frank and Deidre Persyn of San Antonio … Has two siblings, Travis and twin Garrett … Two cousins attended Texas A&M, Tiffany Robinson and Bryan Dawson … Bryan Dawson was a member of the Aggie football team … Chose Texas A&M for the great community, tradition, education and athletics … Started competing in track and field at age 12 … Community service and extracurricular activities include being the education chair of the Wildlife and Fisheries Science Club, as well as Sports for Kids Club, SAAC, volunteer at Humane Society, played violin and was on club soccer team … Majoring in Wildlife and Fisheries Science.
