Saw action in two events as an individual … maintained a 75.00 scoring average during six rounds of competition with one round under par … made his season debut at the John A. Burns Intercollegiate (228, +12) in mid-February, finishing in 56th … notched a tie for 10th place at the Aggie Invitational (222, +6) highlighted by a final round of one-under par (71).

BEFORE A&M
Attended Johnson High School in San Antonio where he played for coach Mike Martin … garnered first-team all-state, first-team all-district and team MVP as a senior in 2013 … won individual medalist honors at the 2013 Mike Brent Invitational and the 2013 26-5A District Tourney … finished second at the Regional Tournament in 2013 and fifth at the state tournament the same year … member of the 2012 District and Regional runners-up teams, the 2013 district runner-up and 2013 regional champion … earned second-team all-district honors as a junior … team Captain from 2011-2013 … set the course record (67) at Morris Williams … participated in the Jackie Burke Cup ... active academically as well as athletically, participating in the National Honors Society and Spanish Honors Society … graduated in the top 10% of his class, was an AP Scholar, a member of the House of Distinguished Jags and received the NEISD Academic Scholar Award.
