Bryan Snyder joined the Athletics Department in March of 2023 and serves as the Assistant Athletics Director for Performance Nutrition.
Snyder is responsible for the oversight, growth, and development of Texas A&M’s Performance Nutrition Staff and represents his department on the Athletic Department’s Performance and Wellness Leadership Team.
Prior to his arrival at Texas A&M, Bryan served as the longest-tenured dietitian in the NFL while spending nearly 14 years as the Director of Team Nutrition for the Denver Broncos. While there he took part in five AFC West division titles, two AFC Championships and a victory in Super Bowl 50. Bryan was responsible for nutrition programming, sweat testing, sleep education, body composition assessments and nutrition education for the organization as well as growth and development of a nutrition and culinary nutrition staff.
In addition to his work in the NFL, Snyder has extensive experience in the NHL, NBA, and MLB serving as a consultant for many years with the Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets, and Colorado Rockies. His other professional experience includes speaking engagements around the country speaking on topics including recovery nutrition, sleep, pre-game fueling, leadership, and how to optimize food for performance and reducing injury.
As the Assistant Athletic Director for Performance Nutrition, Snyder is responsible for directing and leading the department utilizing the best practices in the industry to provide the best nutrition services available to student athletes. He is responsible for the management of the training table, development of policies and procedures, nutrition education, implementation of proper fueling and recovery, and overall vision of the department. Snyder also will be responsible for the mentorship of dietetic students and contributes to the collaboration between Sports Medicine, Strength and Conditioning, Sports Psychology, and Sports Science.
A native of Simla, Colorado, Snyder graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. He completed his dietetic internship with the University of Northern Colorado in 2012 and is Board Certified as a Specialist in Sports Dietetics.
He and his wife, Sarah, enjoy attending A&M sporting events with their six children Kooper, Londynn, Annistynn, Emersynn, Beauen, and Krewz.
